Waiting for Light: Nature Landscape Workflow
Strong landscape photos are usually the result of timing, not luck.
Before the Shoot
- Check cloud movement and wind speed.
- Scout compositions in daylight.
- Mark two backup angles in case weather shifts.
During the Shoot
Use a stable setup and watch for short light windows. The best frames often appear for only a few minutes.
Keep It Simple
Prioritize one clean subject, one strong foreground element, and one layer of atmosphere.
